What is PRE-TGE?

PRE-TGE (pre-Token Generation Event) is a preliminary phase before the main token issuance (TGE), which is often launched by major platforms, including Binance Wallet.

If we take the example of $HEMI from Binance Wallet:

TGE is the moment when the token is officially created and begins circulation (appears in wallets and may be listed on exchanges).

PRE-TGE is a kind of “access to tokens before release”: users can farm, stake or receive points/allocation, which is converted into $HEMI during the TGE itself.

Why is this done:

• gives early adopters a chance to get tokens before listing;
• creates excitement and activity around the project;
• helps distribute some of the tokens among the community, even before going public.

That is, PRE-TGE = preparatory stage, where you actually "reserve" tokens for yourself (in the case of $HEMI - through activity in Binance Wallet), and after TGE they officially enter your wallet.
